Brittney Reed

Brittany is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Western Governors University and received her Master of Science in Nursing at Clarkson College. During her nursing career, Brittany worked in long term care, dermatology, cardiology, and behavioral health. Throughout her nursing career she realized the impact that mental health care has on the collective health of a person’s mind, body, and quality of life, which led her to her passion for psychiatry. She has experience working on child and adolescent behavioral health units, acute psychiatric adult and geriatric units, as well as community mental health across the lifespan.
Brittany is passionate about providing comprehensive, evidence-based, compassionate mental health services. Her focus is on empowering each client to participate in their journey to wellness for a whole person, client-centered approach provided in a supportive, stigma-free environment.
Brittany values interdisciplinary education and collaboration to help her clients feel and function at their best. She treats children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience with the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and chronic mental illness.
