Tesia Nichols
“Hey there! My name is Tesia. Starting therapy and turning to someone you don’t know for help can be scary, but research supports the value of therapy, even brief therapy, as a beneficial treatment for common mental health problems. Successful therapy makes for a happier and healthier person!
I have experience working with adults, children, teens, couples, families, and groups. I personally feel that working with individuals is my strong suit. The one-on-one time is immeasurable in its value. I also easily and genuinely connect to those with chronic illness or disability, as I battle a rare GI disorder myself that leaves me dependent on a feeding tube. I believe in finding ways to help those who may be lost, help themselves. By using therapies such as Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment, Person-Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or a combination of a few, I hope to help connect you to the resources you may need in order to start healing. Humans were not meant to struggle alone, and I am here to walk with you through whatever life has thrown your way. Please feel free to message me so we can set up an appointment. I am excited and honored to start helping you!”
